Lira is 16 years old, and she is a true country girl. Up until very recently
she spent her days milking cows, cleaning up after chickens and baking bread. She was
a farmer's daughter. Then her whole world turned upside down.
Someone killed her mother, and left her a cryptic note. Now, Lira is on a quest to find her
mother's killer, and to find herself...
There are secrets in Lira's past. Secrets her mother never told her about.
And now they have come to haunt her.
Jan is a musician. He has wild colorful hair, and a carefree attitude. With his animal companion Tar and his
friend Narat, Jan is traveling to discover himself. He is a musician, a bard. To sing tales of far off places and glorious
adventures, he must first see places outside his home and meet people who have actually had adventures.
In the course of his travel he runs into Lira, as she is traveling on her quest. With the decision to help her out,
Jan might have some glorious adventures of his own. Perhaps one day bards will sing of him. For now he must practice his craft.
What his craft is exactly remains to be seen.
Narat is an Elf. She is accompanying Jan on his journies, mostly in the roule of a chaparone. She is a very mysterious character
and not a lot is known about her to either Jan or Lira.
Tar is a strange mysterious beast. He is of the kind Lira has never seen. He seems to be Jan's pet, yet he talks and appears to be at
least as intelligent as everyone else. He has secrets noone knows. Except perhaps Narat, who is the only one who seems to sometimes forget that Tar
is an animal.
